Visitor Information

The Textile Arts Council office is on the second floor of the de Young Museum, near the textile gallery. Exhibits of textiles can be seen both in the textile gallery of the de Young Museum and in featured exhibits at the California Palace of the Legion of Honor. Adjacent to the textile gallery in the de Young is the Textile Education Gallery with drawers displaying examples of different textile techniques and samples related to current exhibits. Computers in the Education Gallery allow the visitor to view selections from the collection.

The de Young Museum is located at 50 Hagiwara Tea Garden Drive in the heart of San Francisco's Golden Gate Park; hours are Tuesday through Sunday, 9:30 AM – 5:15 PM.

The Legion of Honor is located at 34th Avenue and Clement Street in San Francisco. Hours are Tuesday through Sunday, 9:30 AM – 5:15 PM.
