Workshops

Hands-on workshops in the textile arts are sometimes given in conjunction with a TAC lecture. These workshops provide an opportunity for participants to experience the process of creating or embellishing textiles while working with experts in the textile field. Ethnic Textiles Study Group

The Ethnic Textiles Study Group of the Textile Arts Council meets once a month, usually on the fourth Saturday morning. At each meeting, a member of the group makes a one hour presentation focusing on a particular aspect of ethnic textiles. The talks reflect a personal collection or interest and are illustrated by photos, slides, or actual textiles.
