Writing and Designing for Embroidery Books

​Embroidery book author and designer Alison Cole has been embroidering for most of her life and her love of it has seen her try her hand at a large array of techniques. In this talk, she will dive into her current book and embroidery projects with attendees, shining a bit of light on the process of design and embroidery instruction. She considers herself fortunate to be a freelance artist in an industry which she loves, both professionally designing and teaching embroidery for over twenty-five years. Her career has given her the opportunity to study, teach and exhibit around the world, meeting wonderful like-minded people.
