Join SFSNAD’s exhibiting artist, Lesia Pona, for an exploration of traditional embroidery techniques across Ukraine. There are over 250 stitches used in Ukrainian folk embroidery, composing techniques that are unique to each region.


In this webinar, Lesia Pona will highlight embroidered shirts from across Ukraine to demonstrate the vary and popular needlework techniques by region, such as: Merezshka (drawn thread), Vyrizuvania (cutwork), Nyzynka (vertical weaving stitch), and many more!
